Theology of the Body Speaks: Formation in truth (Tamil)
The Theology of the Body (TOB) is St. John Paul II’s scripture-based vision of the human person delivered through 129 Wednesday audiences. He answers the questions “Who am I?’’ and “How am I to live?”, proposing that the ultimate meaning of life and love is made visible in the human body. As educators and faith leaders, we have the opportunity—and the responsibility—to guide young people to understand their own sexuality and its meaning in their life. This formation will help you to get a basic understanding on theology of the body and its importance. We are excited to invite all Tamil speaking catechism teachers and all those who are interested to attend this formation as part of your self growth and to help your catechism students to find meaning in their lives. The topics covered include: 1. Created for Love [அன்புக்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்டது] 2. Love Defined [அன்பு வரையறுக்கப்பட்டது] 3. Four Marks of love Living a Free and good life[சுதந்திரமான நல்ல வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வது]

Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur Jubilee Convention 2025 - Catechists as Pilgrims of Hope
The KL Archdiocesan Catechetical Ministry is excited to announce, in accordance with the Jubilee Year of Hope, the first ever KL Archdiocesan Jubilee Convention for Catechists, with the theme: "Catechists as Pilgrims of Hope" It is undeniable that recent developments in technology and society have made the work of catechesis extremely challenging, and sometimes frustrating, especially for catechists in the parish. Recognising the challenges in each parish, we hope that this Jubilee Convention for Catechists could be an occasion for encounter with divine grace, and that this gathering of catechists from all over the Archdiocese would excite and encourage the faith of all who are called to this ministry. This Convention aims to gather all who are involved in catechetical or faith formation ministries: catechists, RCIA facilitators, Bible knowledge teachers, coordinators, assistants, anyone contributing to catechesis in ways great and small, for a time of strengthening through fellowship and learning. The sessions we’ve prepared aim to help participants learn about the different aspects of the catechetical ministry and to reflect deeply on their own vocation to pass on the treasures of the faith and to proclaim the salvation of Christ to a world in need of Hope. The Jubilee Convention also comes as a culmination to the catechetical activities held in August and on the occasion of the Feast of St Robert Bellarmine, the patron saint of catechists, and a reminder that our humble services are a contribution to the building of the Kingdom of God. Most Rev Julian Leow Beng Kim, Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur, will preside at the opening Mass and deliver the keynote address on the first day.
